Sen. Edwards Endorses Bill MacGregor
State Senator Lydia Edwards Endorses Bill MacGregor for State Representative for the 10th Suffolk District
BOSTON– State Senator Lydia Edwards has endorsed Bill MacGregor for State Representative for the 10th Suffolk District (West Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, Roslindale, Brookline). Senator Edwards represents the Third Suffolk District (Revere, Winthrop, Boston).
Sen. Edwards shared, “Bill understands what it means to serve. He understands what it means to help people. He’s a bridge builder. We need dedicated public servants that care only about doing the work, and that’s Bill. I’m so excited about the work that Bill and I will do together on Beacon Hill. I can’t imagine anyone who is more prepared to start this job on day one. I need Bill in the State House, and so does the 10th Suffolk District.”
“Senator Edwards has always been an incredible example of what leadership and advocacy looks like in public service, and I’m thrilled to have her endorsement. She has always led on issues that are extremely important to me, especially as it relates to addressing housing insecurity, promoting climate and environmental justice, and supporting working families. She was an amazing partner at City Hall, and I can’t wait to work together at the State House if I have the honor of being elected,” said MacGregor.
